‘That’s my guy’ – Iwobi hails Smith Rowe after scoring against Hoffenheim

Fulham’s new signing, Emile Smith Rowe, has quickly made an impact at his new club, scoring his second goal in two games.

The 24-year-old England international found the back of the net in Fulham’s 2-0 pre-season victory against Hoffenheim at the Rhein-Neckar Arena.

Smith Rowe, who joined Fulham from Arsenal in a club-record £34 million deal, opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, after receiving a perfectly timed through ball from Alex Iwobi.

The goal marked another strong performance as he continues to impress in Fulham’s pre-season campaign.

Iwobi, who assisted the goal, couldn’t hide his excitement, shouting “That’s my guy!” as he celebrated with his former Arsenal teammate.

The two players, both products of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, shared a warm embrace on the pitch, much to the delight of Fulham fans.

Social media was abuzz with fans praising the duo’s chemistry, with one fan likening Iwobi to a “proud big brother.”

Smith Rowe’s official debut for Fulham is eagerly anticipated as they prepare to face Manchester United at Old Trafford next week.
