Stranded man’s plea for help backfires as he’s accused of scamming good Samaritans

A man who got stranded when he traveled for a job interview has been accused of scamming good Samaritans who came to his aid.

The man identified as dreal_akpan took to the micro blogging platform, Twitter to revealed that he needed help to transport home after getting stranged at the state where he went for a job interview.

He wrote …

“I need urgent help pls,I am stranded somewhere around Wuse 2 in Abuja,I came all the way from akwa ibom down here in search of a job but the job didn’t materialize. It has been a horrible 3 weeks here and I want to go back home. I just need my transportation back home.”

One netizen @h_abibah, amongst others, had taken to the comment section offer help.

“How much is the transport?,” @h_abibah had asked.

He had sent an invoice of the bus he wanted to take which showed its transport fare to be at 25,000.

@h_abibah had sent the cash to him, eliciting profuse words of thanks to from him to her.

However, the lady had taken to twitter to lament difficulty of helping genuine people, as most people just try to scam others.

“It’s hard to help people on this app, scammers here and there,” @h_abibah wrote.

In reaction to this, the man blasted her mercilessly.

“U donated shishi come dey cry say i scammed u, someone else donated a double without tweeting trash. Na poverty mentality dey worry u. Show the whole world a prove of how u were scammed. Lowlife female terrorist.”
