Senegal star Lamine Camara reach agreement to join Monaco from Metz
AS Monaco and FC Metz have reached an agreement for the transfer of Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara.
The 20-year-old is set to join the Monegasque club, beating out competition from Southampton and Al-Qadsiah, both of which had also made offers.
According to L’Équipe, the transfer deal is valued at approximately €15 million, with €13 million upfront and an additional €2 million in potential add-ons.
Camara, who is under contract with Metz until 2026, has attracted attention for his impressive performances.
While the final signatures are still pending, Monaco are optimistic about finalizing the deal soon, as confirmed by Football insider, Fabrizio Romano.
Camara’s addition is expected to bolster Monaco’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season.
