Nigerian artist set to break Guinness World Record for largest drawing by an individual with 850sqm artwork

Renowned Nigerian artist, Dr. Fola David, embarks on a historic quest to shatter the Guinness World Record for the largest drawing by an individual, spanning an impressive 850 square meters.

His masterpiece, “Unity in Diversity,” will showcase a detailed map of Nigeria, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of its diverse tribes through their unique attire, languages, art, and essence.

This groundbreaking attempt is currently underway at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos and will continue for six days, from July 16 to July 21, 2024.

Dr. David aims to surpass the current record held by Indian artist Ravi Soni, who created a 629.98 square meter drawing.
