Marseille make formal bid for Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood
Olympique Marseille have formally bid to sign Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Greenwood, who spent last season on loan at Getafe, is also a target for Juventus and Lazio.
Romano reports that Manchester United are open to loaning out Greenwood, provided the deal includes an obligation to buy and a sell-on clause.
This condition aligns with Marseille’s approach, as the Ligue 1 club seek to strengthen it squad under new boss coach Roberto De Zerbi.
Italian interest in Greenwood remains strong. Juventus and Lazio have shown considerable interest, with Lazio having already had an initial €20 million offer rejected by Manchester United.
This offer also included a 50% sell-on clause, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
