Davido turns up to support Victony at his debut album listening party
Afrobeat singer Davido made a surprise appearance at his junior colleague, Victony‘s debut album “Stubborn” listening party in Lagos, showing his support for the singer.
Victony held the listening party for his debut album in Lagos State, where there was a massive turnout. Davido showed up amongst the crowd to show his support, which added an extra layer of excitement for fans and attendees.
The “Soweto” singer answered the significance of some of the tracks in the album, asserting that the track “History” highlighted what growing up was like for him and gave a shout-out to people from Ojo.
When asked about “Risk,” the sixth track on the album, he explained that it originated from a casual session that turned into something magical.
He shared that he simply texted the renowned Nigerian record producer and DJ, P.Prime, suggesting they make a song, which resulted in the creation of the sixth track.
