Famous singer, Shakira expresses her love for Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, international pop star Shakira shared her love for Afrobeats music and expressed her admiration for two notable artists in the genre.

She revealed her love for Nigerian artist Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, and South African Grammy winner Tyla.

Shakira described her music taste as eclectic, honest, and real, stating that she enjoys any music with an Afrobeats rhythm.

Although she mentioned her appreciation for Tyla, she emphasized her special fondness for Burna Boy.

Shakira said:

“If I could explain my taste in music in three words, I would say eclectic, honest and real. I love anything Afrobeats. I like Tyla, I like Burna Boy, anything Afrobeats. But I love Burna so much.”
