Ex-NAFDAC Deputy Director recounts japa to Canada to become a food server
A Medical laboratory technician in Canada recounts how she quit her job in Nigeria as a Deputy Director at NAFDAC to become a food server after relocating abroad.
A TikTok user identified as @rosyreal1 took to the video-sharing platform to narrate her journey from holding a top position at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control to relocating abroad.
According to Madam Rosy, her first job in Canada wasn’t the best as she started as a food server after four months of being jobless.
However, her story changed after a while in the North American country when she became a Medical laboratory technician.
“God knows the end from the beginning. When I landed in Canada it took me 4 months to get my first job as a food server … today the story has changed for good,” she captioned the post.
However, many called her a bluff, arguing that no one can have such a good job in Nigeria and throw it all away for a relocation to Canada.
One user wrote, “Can you show us some evidence to proof you’re DD of nafdac in Nigeria before moving to Canada 🇨🇦.., because people at that post in Naija now are making big money .. so don’t trick us with wrong info.”
In response, Madam Rosy shared a throwback photo of herself as a staff of NAFDAC, to debunk the allegations of falsifying her claim.
