Manchester City have made history, clinching their fourth consecutive Premier League title, with 3-1 win over West Ham on a tense final day.
Pep Guardiola’s side showed their usual class in the encounter, with Phil Foden opening the scoring with a curling just withing the opening two minutes.
Foden, who was recently named Premier League Player of the Season, doubled City’s lead with a finish from a Jeremy Doku assist in the 18 minute.
West Ham were able to find their feet, pulling one back with a stunning acrobatic strike from Mohammed Kudus just before halftime.
However, Rodri restored City’s two-goal advantage with a powerful shot from the edge of the box at 59 minutes.
City’s path to the title saw them leapfrog Arsenal after a crucial 2-0 win against Tottenham earlier in the week.
Their final day victory marked their sixth Premier League title in seven seasons.
