Ajax have reportedly reopened talks with Graham Potter, amidst speculation linking him with Manchester United.
Potter, who previously turned down the Dutch club due to salary concerns, is now ready to resume his managerial career.
The former Chelsea boss has also emerged as a contender for the Manchester United job if Erik ten Hag is relieved of his duties.
Following Manchester United’s recent 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, the pressure on Ten Hag has intensified.
Although the club are unlikely to make any changes before the FA Cup final against Manchester City later this month.
The Red Devils are currently on course for their lowest-ever Premier League finish, languishing in eighth place with 13 defeats this season, a record high for the club.
Potter has been without a job since his departure from Chelsea in April 2023, having spent a brief stint at Stamford Bridge following his departure from Brighton & Hove Albion.
His tenure at Chelsea was short-lived, despite the club paying a reported £16 million to secure his services.
Meanwhile, Ajax endured a disappointing fifth-place finish in the Eredivisie this season, initially facing relegation fears.
