Outrage as man orders wife to quit her banking job

Netizens rage upon hearing the story of a jobless man who asked wife to quit her banking job because she couldn’t cook Egusi soup he was craving.

The story was shared to the microblogging platform, X, by user, @Steadi_lady.

She claimed her sister shared the story with her and she was left shocked by the events that occurred.

Apparently, the man has been jobless for 6 years and the wife is currently the breadwinner of their home.

However recently, she returned back late from work and cooked rice instead of the Egusi soup that he was craving.

This enraged the husband who in turn ordered her to quit working there so she can be available to cook his preferred meals.

Since his decision, their church members have been begging him to reconsider his stance.

The tweet reads;

“My sister was telling me about a lady in her church. The husband told her to resign from her job this week bcos she came home late from work & decided to cook rice instead of the Egusi soup the husband was craving

Guess where the husband is working.. he’s jobless – for 6yrs nw.
