Lawyer recounts writing JAMB six times, joyful during call to bar

A Nigerian lawyer, Uthman Tochukwu recounts the struggle of attempting the JAMB exam six times before gaining admission to a university.

Uthman Isa Tochukwu posted on X, revealing that he sat for the JAMB exam six times before he finally began his journey as a law student.

He celebrated his achievement by posting a throwback picture after completing his education and becoming a lawyer.

Recounting his first professional studio pictures on that day, he emphasized that his number of failed attempts was the motivation behind the photos on the day he was called to the bar.

In his words;

“My first studio picture. I didn’t even want to take it but family pressure considering that I had written JAMB six (6) times to get to here, so found their grounds valid and I yielded to their pressure. 6/12/2022 will continue to be an immutable date in my life.”
