Bullied Lead British International School student, Namtira narrates incident 

The bullied student at Lead British International School in Abuja, Namtira Bwala, has shared her side of the story.

It is no longer news that a female student, Namtira Bwala was bullied by her classmate, Maryam Hassan by repeatedly slapping her across the face.

However, the bullying episode that attracted notice online led to the school’s closure for three days. Additionally, the bully has tendered a public apology to Nigerians and the victim.

Namtira, while speaking with TVC News, stated that her bully had summoned her to a shop on the school premises and asked to talk to her.

While being asked the questions, she was receiving slaps from Maryam. After that, a staff from the aforementioned shop asked them what had transpired and told them to go afterward, but that was not all.

She was then taken to a corner in the cafeteria at the school where the slapping continued.
