Nigerian man allegedly falls victim to street POS scam at computer village, gets papers instead of cash
A young Nigerian man expressed pain as he fell victim to a POS scam at Computer Village, allegedly after patronizing a shopless POS agent and was given papers instead of real money.
The incident, captured in a fresh post, has garnered likes and shares.
In the video captioned “Welcome to Computer Village, Ikeja,” the young man can be seen attempting to count the money he allegedly withdrew through a POS agent he encountered on the street, who lacked a shop.
He recounted finding numerous paper-sized items resembling real money after the POS agent vanished, repeatedly counting to confirm if he was hallucinating or truly being scammed.
As he continued counting, a voice in the background expressed pity for the boy. Eventually, the young man was shown placing his hands on his head in anguish after realizing he had been scammed out of an undisclosed sum of money.
The video depicting this unfortunate event attracted many social media users, who flooded the comments section to react after it circulated online.
