Arsenal reclaimed their spot at the top of the Premier League table with a hard-fought 2-0 victory against Wolves.
Goals from Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard ensured the Gunners picked themselves up, after being knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday.
Trossard’s delivered a sensational strike just before halftime, followed by Odegaard’s late effort in injury time, to seal the win for the Gunners.
Although Arsenal dominated possession, the Gunners struggled to break down Wolves’ defense in the early stages of the match.
However, Trossard’s sliced shot found the top corner, giving Arsenal the lead just before the break.
The Gunners, still reeling from recent defeats to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, managed to assert their usual performance in the Saturday encounter.
In the other, Wolves, made efforts to pose occasional threats on the counterattack, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya kept all dangers out.
Odegaard’s late goal, ensured Arsenal’s return to the Premier League top spot.
