“Visible in Oyo and Kano” – Nigerians share videos, photos of eclipse of the sun

Images and videos of the eclipse of the sun have been shared by some Nigerians who were reportedly able to view it from their regions.

A total solar eclipse, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Agency, happens when the moon moves between the sun and the earth, momentarily obscuring the sun’s brightness.

Images that several Nigerians in the states of Oyo and Kano posted online claimed to show what they witnessed during the brief eclipse.

Although it was estimated to be completely in the Pacific region of Mexico, Canada, and over ten US states, some Nigerians also felt it to some extent.

One netizen, Sky Girl took to Twitter to claim that she had witnessed the partial eclipse and made a video of it which she shared.
