Renowned Super Eagles’ striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni laments still being dragged over the goal he missed during the 2010 World Cup against South Korea, as he reveals some of the sensitive messages he keeps receiving from people.
It would be recalled that the footballer had missed a goal against South Korea during the 2010 World cup in South Africa.
Many had thought that the goal should have been easily scored with the sort of chance that he had.
However, he missed it, and ever since, many have continued to drag him.
During a recent interview, Aiyegbeni revealed that despite the miss happening over a decade ago, he is still being dragged to this very day.
He related a message he received from a fan, demanding to know how he would explain to his kid the goal he missed.
Some he received declared that he is the worst striker in the history of Super Eagles’ team.
