“I feel so blessed beyond words” – Biodun Okeowo emotional as she reunites with son after 5 years
Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo sheds tears of joy as she reunites with her son after spending 5 straight years apart.
On her Instagram page, she posted a video of their meeting at the airport in Canada where he is based. She described how the last time she saw her son was in 2019, just before her mother passed away, in her caption.
The actress noted how she is incredibly grateful to her Maker and that seeing him again after a grueling five years away brings tears of joy to her eyes.
In addition, Biodun expressed her immense gratitude and emotional state at being able to hold her son once more after all these years.
In her words: “Hmmmmm, I saw my son last before my mom’s demise in 2019. I was with him when I received the news of my mom’s death 😢, and since then, I’ve not been able to visit Canada 🇨🇦.
“Embracing him after 5 long years apart fills my heart with tears of joy and overflowing gratitude to Jehovah 🙏. I told him a little white lie 😂, saying he was going to meet someone dear to me at the airport. Little did he know, he was coming to pick me up.
“Feeling incredibly emotional and grateful beyond measure to hold my son again after all these years. Thank you, God, for guiding us back to each other. I feel so blessed beyond words. This moment is a true testament to God’s grace, filled with thanksgiving.
“Hmmmm! Not seeing my son for that long instilled fear in me, but upon getting to Canada without informing him, and seeing everything, including the friends he chose to move with and their parents, gives me a sense of relief. Now I can sleep peacefully and accept that @faiznszn did not deviate from the way he was raised. 🙏”
