16-year-old Barcelona rising star Lamine Yamal bags Adidas sponsorship deal

Barcelona’s 16-year-old rising star Lamine Yamal, has inked a significant sponsorship deal with sportswear giant Adidas.

The deal sees Yamal switch from Nike to Adidas, becoming a key figure in the brand’s campaigns, including his own line of football boots.

Yamal has been a delight to watch on the pitch, and is already drawing comparisons to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.

His creative style of play ranks him amidst forwards his age.

 

His move to Adidas follows in Messi’s footsteps, as the Argentine superstar also transitioned from Nike to Adidas during his time at Barcelona.

Meanwhile the young midfielder is set to become one of Adidas’ key ambassadors, with potential appearances at major events like the Euros.
