Burna Boy didn’t steal from America, we stole from him – Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey, the host of an American talk show, has cleared Grammy winner Burna Boy of any charges of stealing from the American music scene.

He clarified that, in contrast to popular opinion, Burna Boy and other African artists were the ones who brought African beats, rhythm, and soul to the West, particularly America.

Harvey revealed this while serving as a panelist on a television show and emphasized the similarities between Africans and Black Americans.

The comedian said in part;

“They talk about ‘Burna Boy stole this’, no we stole from Burna Boy. Them Africans is us. Africans are the beats, soul, rhythm, and hard work. We get our courage from them. When you see them people, they look just like your family.”
