“Keke is now N2.6 million” – Man who went to tricycle shop laments high cost amid dollar scarcity
Nigerian man baffled after visiting a tricycle shop to be informed about what it costs to buy one now.
The man claimed to have gone to the store to act as a guarantor for someone wishing to buy at a hire-purchase in a TikTok video that @unclenasco had posted.
He lamented that it is a pity that tricycle is now beyond the reach of the common man.
The man wrote …
“Keke is now sold for 2.6 Million Nigerian Naira and 1 dollar is now 1,800 Naira. Things are getting worse every hour of the day. Is this how we are going to continue?”
The man claimed that the price surge could be because of the scarcity of US Dollars.
