Hansi Flick rejects Bayern Munich’s job amidst Tuchel’s woes

Hansi Flick has reportedly rejected an option to return to Bayern Munich despite Thomas Tuchel’s struggles at the club.

Tuchel is facing mounting pressure following three consecutive defeats, with Bayern currently eight points behind the Bundesliga leaders, Bayer Leverkusen .

Despite Bayern’s interest in potential replacements, including Flick, the former Bayern manager has dismissed the idea of returning to the club before the end of the season.

Flick, who is reportedly interested in the Barcelona job, has been making efforts to learn Spanish and recently changed agents to Pini Zahavi, who has close ties to Barcelona President Joan Laporta, Football Espana reports.

 

Flick’s reputation soared after Bayern’s 8-2 demolition of Barcelona in 2020, but his tenure with the German national team was less successful, leading to his dismissal.

Despite the speculation, Flick seems focused on the Barcelona job and has ruled out a return to Bayern in the near future.
