EPL: Arsenal break Premier League record in 5-0 win over Burnley
Arsenal continued their impressive form with a 5-0 win over Burnley, breaking their own set-piece record in the process.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring for the Gunners, followed by Bukayo Saka converting a penalty to double their lead.
The goal marked Arsenal’s 24th set-piece goal of the season, surpassing their previous record set in 2004/05.
Saka continued his stellar performance, scoring his second goal of the game and taking his tally for the season to 15.
Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz also found the net, sealing a dominant win for Arsenal.
The victory over Burnley was Arsenal’s second consecutive away win by a significant margin, following their 6-0 thrashing of West Ham.
These wins have propelled Arsenal back into contention for a top-four finish, sitting just two points behind Liverpool.
