“You high fuel price, human being no go high?” – Portable blames Tinubu for soaring prices, raises show fee to 3.5m
Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called out the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, over economic hardship as he increases the price for his show from 2.5 million to 3.5 million.
In the said video making waves online, the singer could be heard pouring out his mind while maintaining that everything has become too expensive.
He added that it was the president who made fuel prices expensive, and as a result of that, people have started acting like they’re high.
Due to the increase in the prices of commodities like fuel, Garri, and a few others, he revealed that he increased the price of his show by a million naira against the 2.5 million naira he requested the previous year.
The singer made it clear that he took the decision as a result of the economic reality of the country.
