Pastor Adeboye decrees ‘fire of God’ on killers of Ekiti monarchs

Pastor Adeboye addresses the untimely demise of three Ekiti monarchs who were ruthlessly murdered within four days, underscoring the deepening insecurity crisis in the nation.

It is worth noting that during the week, the nation witnessed the tragic deaths of at least three traditional rulers, marking a distressing turn in the prevailing insecurity.

On Monday, January 30, 2024, the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Olusola, and his counterpart from Esun Ekiti, Oba David Ogunsola, fell victim to gunmen while returning from a meeting in Irele-Ekiti, situated in Nigeria’s South West region.

Reacting to the brutal killing of the monarchs, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), issued a fervent command for divine justice to befall those responsible for the brutal killings of traditional rulers across the country.

He made this known during the RCCG’s monthly Holy Ghost Service program for February titled “From The Mountain Top 2,” held on Friday night.

Pastor Adeboye emphasized that those who dared to perpetrate violence against monarchs in the nation would face severe consequences.

In his words, “The fire of God will consume all those trying to mess around with our traditional rulers. Because as far as God is concerned, traditional rulers are anointed.”
