“Did we pay school fees for this?” – Mother loses temper as daughter pranks her with pregnancy
A Nigerian mother pours out her mind after receiving a picture from her daughter who faked her pregnancy, congratulating her on being a grandma.
A video making rounds on social media captured the frustration of a parent whose daughter texted to announce her pregnancy.
The lady had used a TikTok filter that enabled her stomach to look like she was pregnant and in her second trimester or thereabouts.
Upon seeing the picture, the lady’s mother lambasted her daughter for misplacing her priorities in school for pregnancy while condemning her for making the announcement terribly.
In the middle of the outburst, she paused to thank God for the blessing of the unborn baby.
“What is your problem? Is this why you have refused to come home? Did we pay school fees for this? Is this your stomach or did you borrow it? Well, thank God for the blessing. Pack your loads and return home since this is what you want to use your life for. You cant even come home and do wedding,” she said in part.
On realizing it was a prank, she urged her daughter to refrain from such as it may affect her blood pressure.
