Man becomes millionaire overnight after predicting 17 matches
The year began on a positive note for a Kenyan man who accurately predicted 17 matches and won himself about N8.6M on a sports betting platform.
While he didn’t achieve a perfect prediction, accurately forecasting 14 out of the 17 matches, Rotich still walked away with a commendable KSh 1.5 million (equivalent to N8,626,533.26).
Had all his predictions been correct, Rotich would have joined the esteemed SportPesa millionaires’ club.
On January 3, the company shared an announcement, stating, “SportPesa Millionaires Club, Index 0️⃣1️⃣, 2024! 😇 Meet Keneth Rotich, Kshs. 1,523,456 Mega Jackpot Bonus Winner! 🤑 Alipata 14/17 correct predictions. What stops you from correctly predicting the 17 matches and walking away with the money?”
An image circulating online showcased a SportPesa representative presenting Rotich with his check.
It’s worth noting that several observers pointed out the trend that many previous winners, including Rotich, hailed from the Kalenjin community just like Rotich.
