Ligue 1: Thierry Henry advises Mbappe to stay at PSG beyond 2024
As Kylian Mbappe approaches the final six months of his contract at PSG, Thierry Henry has advised he remains with the club beyond 2024.
The France icon made the comment following the player’s looming transfer speculations to Real Madrid.
Henry tells Mbappe to reject the mouthwatering offer of Real Madrid and fulfill his Champions League hopes in Paris.
He said, “I would like him to finish what he started. Why would he leave? He loves PSG and he’s from the city, you have to understand that.”
The France captain faces a critical decision on his future, with Real Madrid eyeing a free transfer deal at the end of the season.
Real Madrid has reportedly set a deadline of January 15 for Mbappe to make his decision, exercising caution after the player’s previous choice to remain in Paris in 2022.
Mbappe, who has secured five Ligue 1 titles with PSG, is lacking a single Champions league trophy.
