Three-year old tweet predicting Osimhen will win African Best if he joins Napoli causes buzz online

A three-year old tweet suggesting Victor Osimhen will win CAF player of the Year if he moves to Napoli has resurfaced online.

Osimhen on Monday night bagged his first African Player of the Year award in Marrakech, Morocco, defeating Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, and Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi.

But it seems someone already saw Osimhen’s future three years ago, even before he made the big move to Napoli.

A tweet by a certain Dumnodi Okonta on Twitter, dated June 30, 2020, predicted that Osimhen would win the African Best Player award if he joined Napoli.

Okonta wrote, “Victor Osimhen will win the CAF African Footballer of the Year if he moves to SSC Napoli”

Surprisingly, the prophecy, whether made out of seriousness or not, has materialized.

The tweet which has now gone viral again, has sparked reactions, with one user SportsDokita asking “how do you people make these prediction?”
