“I’ve been single for a while now” – Cardi B confirms separation from husband Offset
Popular American rapper, Cardi B has officially confirmed the end of her relationship with fellow rapper Offset.
The announcement was made in a live video where Cardi B revealed that she has been single for a while but was unsure about when to share the news with her followers.
“I have been single for a minute now. But I have been afraid to, like… not afraid, but I just don’t know how to tell the world,” shared Cardi B during the live video, expressing her desire for a fresh start in 2024.
The revelation comes after both Cardi B and Offset unfollowed each other on Instagram a few days prior, sparking speculation about the status of their relationship.
Cardi B also posted cryptic messages on her Instagram Story, alluding to personal growth and prioritizing herself.
This recent development follows less than two months after Offset gifted Cardi B with luxury bags worth nearly a million dollars for her 31st birthday.
The couple, who tied the knot in September 2017, has had a tumultuous relationship marked by allegations of infidelity on Offset’s part.
Their marriage endured a publicized breakup in January 2018 when Offset was embroiled in a scandal involving videos showing him with multiple women.
Despite the challenges, Cardi B forgave him after a public apology during one of her performances.
In subsequent years, Cardi B openly addressed the infidelity in interviews and on social media, defending her decision to work through their issues.
However, the couple faced another public spat in June 2023 when Offset accused Cardi B of cheating in a quickly deleted social media post.
