Aston Villa seal 15th home win, set historic record with 1-0 win against Arsenal

Aston Villa secured a 1-0 victory against Arsenal, breaking a 90-year record winning their first eight home matches in a top-flight since 1932/33.

The win sees Villa trailing just two points behind Premier League leaders, Liverpool, and one point behind Arsenal in second place.

The deadlock was broken with an early seventh-minute goal from John McGinn, ensuring Villa took all three points.
