45 countries you can travel to with Nigerian passport without visa in 2024
The Henley Passport Index has unveiled its latest rankings, revealing that the Nigerian passport now provides visa-free access to 45 countries.
The global ranking website reveals that Nigeria now holds the 100th position out of 109 countries due to the strength of its passport in facilitating international travel.
The index, a recognized global passport-ranking website, determines the power of passports by the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.
According to the Henley Passport Index, Nigeria falls behind several African nations, including South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Ghana, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Senegal, and Cameroon, which are positioned at 55th, 71st, 76th, 81st, 86th, 87th, 88th, 89th, and 93rd places respectively.
The Henley Passport Index further reveals that Nigerians currently have access to approximately 45 visa-free countries.
