2025 Coachella: Rema, Tems, Seun Kuti to perform at festival
The highly anticipated lineup for the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been unveiled, featuring over 100 artists set to perform at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Among the Nigerian stars gracing the stage are Afrobeat heavyweights Rema, Tems, and Seun Kuti, signalling yet another milestone for African music on the global stage.
Nigerian Stars at 2025 Coachella
- Rema, making his Coachella debut, continues his meteoric rise in the U.S. music scene. With Calm Down earning him the record for the most-streamed song and the highest-charting single by a Nigerian artist in the U.S., his performance is one of the most anticipated of the festival.
- Tems, fresh from her stellar showing at the 2024 Coachella, where she wowed the crowd alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber for their Essence (Remix) performance, will return to the stage.
- Seun Kuti, a veteran of the Coachella stage, will make history as the first Nigerian artist to perform at the festival three times. His debut in 2012 marked the beginning of Nigerian representation at the world-renowned festival.

Coachella 2025, scheduled for two weekends, April 11–13 and April 18–20, will feature headlining performances by global icons Lady Gaga, Post Malone, and Travis Scott.
