2024 Olympic Qualifiers: Waldrum, 11 Super Falcons players make early arrival ahead of Cameroon’s double
The Super Falcons are intensifying preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifying fixtures against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
No fewer than 11 members of the team have made early arrival ahead of the third round clash.
Meanwhile, head coach Randy Waldrum, along with his assistants, has also joined the camp after recently agreeing to a contract extension with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Among the early arrivals are goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie, Tochukwu Oluehi, Linda Jiwaku, and Akudo Ogbonna.
Others are Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie, Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Abiodun Deborah, Ifeoma Onumonu, and Gift Monday.
Ten more players are expected to join the camp shortly as Nigeria gears up for the first leg of the qualifying fixture in Douala.
The game is scheduled for Friday, February 23, by 6:00pm, while the second leg will take place in Nigeria on Monday, February 26, by 4:00pm.
