2023 Elections: Peter Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos, 3 LG’s results pending
According to the latest report, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), is currently leading Tinubu in the presidential elections held in Lagos on Saturday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared results for 17 local governments, with the collation adjourned until 10:00 am.
So far, Obi has garnered 449,088 votes, while Tinubu has received 416,431 votes. However, Tinubu has won in 10 local governments, while LP has won in 7 of the 17 LGAs declared.
Tinubu’s wins include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere, while Obi’s wins include Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, and Somolu.
The results for Alimosho, Ojo, and Mushin are still pending.
