“You took the life of my grandchild” – Destiny Etiko’s mum screams at Chinwetalu Agu, scares him in prank video
The mother of Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has gone viral after playing a prank on veteran Nollywood actor, Chinwetalu Agu.
Mrs Etiko teamed up with Nigerian pranksters Untouchable and Flower Boy to play a murder prank on the ace actor and the video has received mixed reactions from fans.
In the video, Mrs Etiko and a young girl, who played the role of her granddaughter, stopped Chiwetalu Agu’s car on the road and asked the veteran actor for a selfie, acting like a star-struck fan.
Chiwetalu obliged and stepped out of the car to snap a selfie with her. As the actor was preparing to take a solo selfie with the little girl, he accidentally touched her and she suddenly collapsed.
Mrs Etiko immediately burst into tears, gripped his dress tightly, and accused the actor of using ‘juju’ on her granddaughter.
Some fake passersby came out of hiding and escalated the allegations against the actor, insinuating that he embodied his sinister juju roles from movies, on the little girl.
Despite the accusations, Chiwetalu Agu initially remained calm and explained the situation. However, the seasoned actor eventually succumbed to anger and slapped one of the passersby who threatened to call the police.
The situation was quickly spiralling out of control, and to avoid it from escalating further, Untouchable and Flower Boy emerged from where they had been hiding and informed the actor that it was all a prank.
Chiwetalu Agu was in disbelief and couldn’t comprehend that the whole incident was a staged prank. He then went on to say a popular Igbo phrase that he often uses in his movie roles.
