Woman laments after wrongful debit of 1.7 million Naira from her bank account
A woman has come out on social media on a ranting spree following a wrongful debit on her account worth around 1.7 million Naira after using Zenith bank ATM.
From the video which was posted, the woman explained how she and her friend, Emmanuel, had come to the Zenith bank branch in Ikeja the previous night with his GTB debit card which was swallowed up by the ATM.
They had left the bank without withdrawing and even stood at the queue for over thirty minutes with no success on getting back the card.
Soon enough, they started receiving debit alerts totaling 1.7 million Naira from GT bank. She claims that even up until the time she made the video, the card was still in the ATM.
Recall that earlier this year, another user of Zenith bank has also been a victim of wrongful debit.
The woman has come out to demand an explanation from either Zenith bank or GTB.
