Tiwa Savage overtakes Wizkid, becomes 2nd most followed Nigerian celebrity on Instagram

Award-winning songstress, Tiwa Savage receives an accolade from her fans as she overthrows Afrobeat star, Wizkid to become the second most followed Nigerian on Instagram.

It is worth noting that the Grammy Award nominee, Davido Adeleke holds the crown of the most followed Nigerian celebrity, sitting at a whopping 28.2M followers.

Wizzy who used to follow in the second place until some days ago when he got dethroned and pushed to the third position by Tiwa Savage who currently has 17.9M followers.

The gap between Tiwa and Wizkid, however, isn’t that wide but fans of the former are proud to have their favourite singer leading with over a hundred thousand followers.
