Real Madrid most decorated player Marcelo, adds Copa Libertadores to his trophy cabinet

Former Real Madrid star Marcelo and one of the most decorated players in the club’s history, has added another title to his tally at Fluminense.

Marcelo’s career boasts a remarkable list of trophies that has etched his name in the sands of time.

During his time with Real Madrid, Marcelo secured haul of silverware, making him the most decorated player in the club’s history.

Marcelo helped Real Madrid clinch six La Liga titles. His success extended to the UEFA Champions League, where he contributed significantly to the club’s five titles in the competition.

He also played a vital role in Real Madrid’s domestic success, winning the Supercopa de Espana five times.

Additionally, his contributions extended to the international stage, where he helped the team secure four Club World Cup titles and three UEFA Super Cup victories.

In the Copa del Rey, Spain’s premier domestic cup competition, Marcelo added two titles to his impressive career, and also secured one Campeonato Carioca trophy.

As if that wasn’t enough, the 35-year-old Brazilian professional, has now won the Copa Libertadores with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Fluminense, in less than one year of his return to the club.

Recall Marcelo started his professional career at Fluminense in 2005. He left the club for Real Madrid in 2007, after spending two seasons.
