“Men are really good people” – Lady reflects on influx of Valentine’s gifts despite harsh economy
A young lady showers accolades on Nigerian men following the trending videos of Valentine’s Day gifts despite the current economic situation of the country.
A video making the rounds on social media captured a lady handing men their flowers on how romantic and caring they are and the lengths they go to please the woman they love.
According to her, contrary to the allegations that Nigerian men don’t know how to treat a woman right, she argued Valentine’s gifts received this year are proof that the claim is inaccurate.
She said, partly, “Life is so hard at the moment, but look at what they did for us. Everywhere you go is gifts and these gifts are expensive. You are seeing gifts everywhere and you are not seeing the people that bought it.”
The video has since generated reactions from others who agreed with he point of view while others argued otherwise.
