Labour party factional leader, Lamidi Apapa fight over seats in court (Video)

Lamidi Apapa, the factional leader of the Labour Party was spotted in court today, May 17, with some members of his faction fighting over seats reserved for members of the party at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.

This is coming days after a Federal High Court in Abuja ruled in his favour as the acting national chairman of the party pending the determination of the party’s leadership lawsuit.

Lamidi was first spotted sitting outside the courtroom early this morning with some members of his entourage.

Shortly after the video was shared, he was seen confronting some members of the party inside the courtroom before the day’s activity began.

Eyewitnesses revealed Lamidi directed his anger mainly at the Director General of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council, Akin Osuntokun, for sitting at a spot he claimed was reserved for him and other members of his faction.

It was also alleged that Apapa was reprimanded by the judge after the incident.
