“I don’t have a car” – Pere discloses, reveals why he doesn’t want to buy one
Pere Egbi, star of Big Brother Naija, has stated that he doesn’t own a car and won’t buy one because it’s not an investment.
He chastised people who waste their money on fancy cars, emphasizing that businesses and real estate are assets, not vehicles.
In the most recent Spill With Phyna podcast, Pere stated, “A car is not an investment.” Both a home and a business are assets. Purchasing cars with all of your savings is superfluous.
“Right now, I don’t own a car. I used to drive a brand new Lexus LS570 but I sold it because I needed to put the money into my film. It’s an investment. At the end of the day, I made more than from the film.
In the episode, he also revealed that he was married in the US at the age of 25.
He said that his ex-wife’s suspicions that he was having an affair with a female friend caused their marriage to fail.
