“Easy to impregnate but not easy to marry” – Tears as groom cancels wedding
The sister of a heartbroken bride recounts the last-minute disappointment from the groom who cancelled wedding plans after millions of naira had been spent.
The skincare brand owner identified as @joyglazeempire0 on TikTok took to the video-sharing platform to narrate the hurt that befell her family.
According to her, she described the incident as disgraceful, given the extensive preparations they had undertaken.
She shared a video displaying various items arranged for the wedding and highlighted the significant expenses incurred before the groom chose to cancel it all.
“After planning arrangements and everything for this wedding, it didn’t happen. My family went through disgrace, pain. I actually saw my mum so hurt.
“After selling clothes to people, after collecting money for aso ebi girls. Bought drinks, cow paid for, paid caterers, done everything, paid for decorations.
“Seeing all this picture hurt my feelings everyday because it was easy for a man to impregnate you but not easy for him to marry you. I couldn;t advice her because I do not no what to say,” the lady revealed.
