Dani Alves run dry on cash as family seeks loan to secure ex-player’s bail

Former Barcelona footballer Dani Alves is seeking loan to bail himself after being convicted of sexual assault by Spanish court.

Alves had applied for appeal, and is awaiting the outcome of his appeal while seeking temporary release from prison.

Despite being granted bail by the judge, the Brazilian legend faces the hurdle of providing €1 million bail payment.

Alves, unable to afford the bail himself, has now sought assistance from Neymar’s father, who has reportedly declined this time.

With the clock ticking, Alves’ family, particularly his mother and brother, are racing to secure a loan to cover the bail amount, Football Espana revealed.

If successful within the next 24 hours, Alves could leave prison temporarily, provided he complies with conditions including surrendering his passports and staying away from the alleged victim of the rape case.
