Flamboyant boxer, Floyd Mayweather is retiring from boxing and will not make a comeback.

The Forbes’ most expensive sportman has had a successful career run with 49 wins, including the highly publicised match between the undefeated champion and Manny Pacquiao.

The retirement announcement, which was made by Mayweather Promotions CEO, Leonard Ellerbe on Monday, has put to bed any chance of a return a rematch with Manny Pacquiao or a bout with Amir Khan

Ellerbe made the claim on Twitter and tweeted: ‘Floyd Mayweather is RETIRED, end of discussion.’
