On Saturday, Justin Timberlake was inducted into his hometown Memphis’ Hall of Fame.
The singer gave 20 minutes acceptance speech at the 2015 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. Praising fellow honorees, friends and family members, Timberlake put particular emphasis on the support of his wife, actress Jessica Biel.
The event celebrated artists with a particular connection to Memphis, Timberlake’s hometown. Other honorees included Booker T. & the MG’s drummer Al Jackson Jr., Alberta Hunter, Memphis Slim, Charlie Rich and Elvis Presley guitarist Scotty Moore (inducted into the Hall by Keith Richards).
