Tears as lady’s 2014 post shows cost of 6 yams in Nigeria 10 years ago

A Nigerian lady’s throwback post revealing the cost of yams in 2014 has sparked emotional reactions from netizens.

The lady identified as Nkemjikaku Christien shared a post on Facebook in 2014 after buying six yams in the market for N500.

“6 yams for N500?! Ok na,” she wrote on her Facebook wall ten years ago.

Nigerians who came across the tweet compared the price with the current situation and cried over the increment over the years.
