Bovi expresses disappointment over never winning an AMVCA despite 7 career nominations

Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma shares his disappointment at never winning an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) even after seven nominations throughout his career.

This is coming following the just concluded AMVCA10 which took place on Saturday, May 11 at Eko Hotels.

The renowned comedian, who was present at the event, took to his Instagram page to lament never winning an AMVCA.

He noted that his entire nominations from inception of his career amounts to a total of seven and he has had four individual nominations.

Despite not winning any awards, he had hoped to have won at least ten by now. He congratulated everyone who took home an award from the AMVCA10.

Bovi wrote: “#amvca10 All my nominations since inception -7
Individual nominations- 4
Wins- 0
Expected wins before #amvca20 – 10
Congrats to all the winners from last night. Very deserving.”

His fans and colleagues encouraged him in the comments section.
